SHE'S HERE!!!! miss morgen made her way on sept 22, 2006. i had my appt on the 20th, and dr meekof had me schedule my induction for the 25th. i hadnt had any progress in 2wks, and he figured shes my 3rd, she'll br about 8lbs. so i knew i had less than a wk then.
i actually started laboring on fri the 22nd at 8am.irregular, but getting painful. justin called about 9.30ish saying got rained out, on his way home.told him having contractions, but not regular. he was going to gander mtn. calls at 10.30 and i tell him they are between 2-4 min. he's on hius way. i call bev to watch the girls.jl wants me to call the clinic so dr m knows im going in, even though hes not on call. jl gets home about 11.30, bev about 11.40, and we head out.ctx are about 2 min now.jl calls mom, tells her ti be on her way, and calls his parents and my labor buddy from DIS.get to the hospital about 12.15p. he gets a wheelchair for me, and runs me to the check in. they put me in triage, check me, still too high and imstaying. i get up, and my water breaks. get me to the labor suite, and the ctx are closer yet. get in the bed, and try to get my epidural, but its too late, i couldnt sit up. they check me again, i am COMPLETE, and at +1+2station. the epi wouldnt work until after baby, and iv meds would make baby sluggish. no pain relief. UGH!!! i do lots of small pushes/grunts getting baby down, and i can feel her down there. they check and shes there. dr durbin was still "suiting up" w/ only 1 glove on before i could push again. i did, and she was out. beautiful baby girl.had to wait forever for the afterbirth though. so miss morgen mckenna was 6lbs 10oz and 19inches long. born at 1.16pm. that went quick, but seemed like forever at the time. saturday i had my tubal, dr meekof was at a football game, so dr durbin got to do that too. i do like him. so thats that story. she only lost 1oz when leaving the hospital.
the girls love their new baby sister. joclyn is very possessive. and juls hasnt quite gotten "gentle" yet, but soon im sure. plan on meeting this thursday. we think morgen looks more like me than the others did. she also does a lot of things already. lifts her head, kinda laughs, tries to roll to her side. she gained back her 1oz within 2 days. dr davis was very impressed. i have some GOOD milk. and shes a good eater. thats all that. too.
